<p>A contribution to the nomenclature of <i>Centaurea reichenbachii</i> DC. and its synonyms is presented. The lectotype selected for the name <i>C. reichenbachii</i> is kept at G (G-DC). The synonyms <i>C. calvescens</i> Pančić, <i>C. reichenbachioides</i> Schur ex Hayek, and <i>C. dacica</i> Borza are also discussed. The designated lectotypes for these three heterotypic synonyms are preserved at WU, GOET, and BM, respectively. The selected lectotypes are in accordance with the current application and usage of the names.</p>
