<p>Structural analysis of the side step system for SUV vehicles was performed, and based on the results, various design changes regarding the members that affect the stiffness of the side step system were analyzed. The analysis was performed by performing single and assembly analyses to verify the safety of the side step system and to satisfy deformation and durability when assembled into an SUV. To this end, structural analyses of the single and assembly systems were performed for each design change, such as changing the positions of bolts and adding flanges. Among the various design changes, in the case of a model where the positions of two bolt holes were changed by 10 mm, the stiffness was improved by dispersing the load concentrated on the bolt holes.</p>
