摘要

Electromagnetic heating is one of the processes that determine the quality of induction strengthening in wind turbine gears. In this paper, the electromagnetic heating process of wind gears using two types of inductors was studied. An amplifying effect on the gear temperature field was observed. The direct cause of the amplifying effect can be attributed to the differences in the distribution of the eddy current field within the gear. The fundamental cause is the variation in the magnetic field distribution within the inductors due to structural differences. The location of the highest temperature on the gear surface occurs at different sectional positions. Heating time can be significantly reduced by adjusting the height of the coil while minimizing the ΔTmax. These findings can provide a basis for the precise control of electromagnetic heating temperature in wind turbine gears and serve as a reference for related electromagnetic heating studies.
