Analysis and experimental study of mixing performance of screw structure for two-component composite coating based on EDEM-CFD
摘要
In this paper, different hybrid propulsion screw structures are analysed based on EDEM-CFD. Firstly, three screw models with different perturbation directions are established to analyse the mixing effect of ordinary screw, axial-disturbed screw and radial-disturbed screw based on EDEM. Then the trends of anti-skid coating volume fraction changes within the three structures are simulated by CFD. Finally, the prototype was prepared and experimented. The results show that the volume fraction inside the radial-disturbed screw is 5 times that of the axial-disturbed screw and 6 times that of the common screw, indicating that the radial-disturbed is more favourable to the mixing of anti-slip coatings. The performance of radial-disturbed screw mixing was found to be higher than that of manual mixing by impact and compression experiments, which verified the correctness of the analysis.
