Fault dynamic characteristics of convergent planet row

摘要

As one of the core components of a transmission unit to realize dual power convergence, the convergent planetary row has the characteristics of high speed and high impact in the actual operation, and its failure will easily lead to the failure of the vehicle’s straight driving and steering functions. The centralized parametric modeling of the convergent planetary row was conducted to calculate the variable meshing stiffness of the healthy planetary row and the planetary wheel with a broken tooth, and the simulation solution of the dynamics model of the convergent planetary row was performed to obtain the frequency domain response characteristics of the healthy planetary row and the planetary wheel with a broken tooth. A comprehensive test rig was built, and health and planetary wheel breakage tests were conducted to verify the accuracy of the dynamics model and analyze the planetary wheel breakage characteristics of the convergent planetary row.
