Fixed-time synchronization of spatiotemporal fuzzy neural network via aperiodic intermittent control with hyperbolic sine function

This paper investigates the fixed-time (FXT) synchronization of spatiotemporal fuzzy neural networks (FNNs) by establishing an aperiodic intermittent control (AIC) scheme with a hyperbolic sine function. First, to alleviate the control burden and to suppress the chattering phenomenon caused by the discontinuous sign function, a novel hyperbolic sine function-based controller is proposed, which is more simple and has only two adjustable parameters. Then, the FXT synchronization of spatiotemporal FNNs is explored by employing Green’s formula and the Lyapunov function method. Finally, the feasibility of the theoretical results is validated by numerical simulations.
