Global exponential synchronization of chaotic neural networks via novel coupling matrix design

The global exponential synchronization (GES) between two chaotic neural networks is investigated by using either output coupling or state coupling. By utilizing a Lyapunov function along with Young’s inequality, some new methods are proposed for designing the coupling matrix. Several new criteria on global exponential synchronization of two chaotic neural networks are derived, independent of their initial conditions. Our findings are compared with the existing literature and numerical simulations are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach.
