摘要

In this paper, we propose and analyze a prey-predator model incorporating disease exclusively within the prey population. The interaction between prey and predator follows a generalized Holling type II functional response, accounting for mutual interference. Additionally, the model includes predator harvesting at a nonlinear rate. We conduct a thorough analytical examination of the model, demonstrating the positivity and boundedness of the solutions. The local and global dynamics around the system’s steady states are also investigated. Numerical simulations reveal the occurrence of Hopf bifurcation within the system. Notably, mutual interference and harvesting practices significantly influence the oscillatory behavior and disease transmission among the prey species.
