This means, among other things, the efficient management of capacities and processes. In cardiology the cardiac catheterization laboratory is a&#xa0;particular focus of attention. Until now, there has been no standardized and data-driven management approach for this functional area. The “glossary of process times and key indicators in the cardiac catheterization laboratory” was issued in 2023 and provided a&#xa0;defined foundation on the basis of which systematic evaluations are carried out and objective assessments of processes in cardiac catheterization laboratories can be performed.</p>
