Interventionelle Therapie der Mitral- und der Trikuspidalinsuffizienz (Teil 1)
摘要
Transcatheter treatment strategies have substantially broadened the treatment spectrum for patients with atrioventricular (AV) valvular regurgitation (mitral and tricuspid valves). There is now good evidence that interventional procedures can be safely carried out and are effective in the reduction of regurgitation. They alleviate the symptoms of patients, reduce the hospitalization rate due to cardiac decompensation and lead to an increase in the quality of life. Part 1 of this article deals with the evaluation of AV valvular regurgitation and the indications for an interventional treatment strategy. Part 2 presents the currently available interventional treatment procedures.
