Klappenerkrankungen – Update
摘要
This article provides an overview of the latest findings presented at international conferences in the field of transcatheter heart valve treatment in 2023. For the aortic valve, these included the 5‑year data of the PARTNER‑3 low-risk study and the 4‑year results of the Evolut low-risk study as well as important findings on the safety and efficacy of the interventional treatment of aortic valve regurgitation (AR) using the JenaValve Trilogy valve. In addition, the Redo-TAV was also presented, which aims to simplify the preprocedural planning for TAV(transcatheter aortic valve prosthesis)-in-TAV procedures. In a step for step format, the app leads the user through the preprocedural planning and therefore represents a connection between new technical aids and conventional planning for TAV-in-TAV interventions. With respect to the mitral valve, the results of the EXPAND G4 real world study, the MiCLASP study, the CLASP 2D study and data on transcatheter mitral valve replacement were presented. Furthermore, the EuroSMR score for risk stratification of patients with secondary mitral valve regurgitation were introduced. There was also new knowledge in the field of transcatheter interventions on the tricuspid valve with the results of the TRISCEND (II), TRILUMINATE (pivotal), bRight and TriCLASP studies as well as the PRIMARY and Trigistry studies.
