<p>This study investigates the association between TV consumption, as well as exposure to pro-drinking messages via television and social media, and binge drinking behaviors among South Korean college students within a moderated mediation framework. The PROCESS macro was used for the analysis. The results indicated that exposure to pro-drinking content and social norms jointly mediated the association between TV consumption and binge drinking. In addition, the combined moderating role of stress and social comparison significantly strengthened the association of TV consumption and exposure to pro-drinking messages with binge drinking, suggesting important implications for understanding the relationship between media consumption and young adults' alcohol consumption.</p>
