The contemporary workplace, particularly in the Indian IT sector, is characterised by rapid technological transformation, heightened complexity and intense competition. To address these challenges, organisations increasingly recognise the importance of creating supportive, productive, and psychologically enriching environments. This study examines the mediating effect of Organisational Aesthetics (OA) comprising both physical design and symbolic emotional ambience on the relationships among Emotional Intelligence (EI), Leadership Style (LS), and Organisational Support (OS) with Workplace Well-Being (WWB). Using data from 339 IT professionals, the study employs Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) to test both direct and indirect pathways, drawing on the Job Demands–Resources (JD-R), Conservation of Resources (COR), and Signalling Theory frameworks. Results indicate that LS exerts the strongest direct effect on WWB (β = 0.60), followed by OS (β = 0.23) and EI (β = 0.12). OA partially mediates all three relationships, transmitting approximately 11–18% of the total effects. These findings highlight that leadership style, emotional intelligence, and organisational support operate jointly through aesthetic and emotional resources to enhance employee well-being. The study contributes theoretically by establishing OA as a contextual job resource that transforms psychosocial inputs into perceptual and affective outcomes. Practically, it positions OA as a strategic enabler of leadership and HR interventions, advocating leadership development programs that integrate emotional intelligence with aesthetic sensibility. The research underscores that nurturing both the look and feel of the workplace is essential for sustaining well-being and organisational effectiveness in the digital era.

摘要
