摘要

Drawing on social exchange theory, we explore whether, how, and when respectful leadership affects employee voice. An empirical study of 279 leader-employee dyads revealed that respectful leadership positively influenced employee voice via affective trust. Furthermore, the results showed that the indirect effect of respectful leadership on employee voice via affective trust was moderated by positive reciprocity beliefs. Our findings provide theoretical implications for understanding the relationship between respectful leadership and employee voice, as well as practical implications for organizations.
