<p>The present research examined the reliability and validity of the Occupational Meaning in Life Questionnaire (OMLQ). The OMLQ is an adaptation of the widely used Meaning in Life Questionnaire (MLQ) to assess the meaning in life that a person obtains from their occupation. Exploratory factor analysis of 1157 college counselors supported the OMLQ-Presence and OMLQ-Searching two-factor model. The confirmatory factor analysis of 548 in-service workers further confirmed the validity of the two-factor structure. The split-half and internal consistency reliability analysis revealed that the OMLQ is reliable. Additionally, the OMLQ score was positively correlated with occupational calling, job satisfaction, global meaning in life, and happiness, and negatively correlated with work stress and depression. The results of the present study support the structure and reliability of the OMLQ.</p>
