摘要

The study aims to explore the positive parenting style, perceived control, perceived social justice on materialism ant the high education level in China. We administered a questionnaire to 1365 high school students (405 males and 960 females). Results showed that: (1) positive parenting style significantly negatively predicted adolescents’ materialism; (2) perceived Control fully mediated the relationship between positive parenting style and materialism; (3) perceived social justice moderated the direct effect of positive parenting style on materialism and moderated the first half of the mediated path “positive parenting style → perceived control → materialism.” This study highlights the importance of positive parenting style in reducing materialistic tendencies among adolescents, emphasizing the role of control and the impact of perceived social justice.
