摘要

The present study intended to examine the effectiveness of Group-Based Dialectical Behavior Therapy (GBDBT) on the diminution of emotional regulation problems and anxiety strictness in men with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). This was a controlled randomized trial that was done with three baseline, intervention, and follow-up stages within an experimental group and the wait-list control group. The participants were 40 outpatient males with GAD that they enlisted by a random sampling mode in each group. In the present study, the Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS) and the Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7-Item Scale (GAD-7) measures were used. The experimental group completed the GBDBT in 10 sessions which were detained weekly for 90 min. Analyses indicated that the experimental group had a significant decline in emotional regulation problems and anxiety severity compared with the wait-list control group during the intervention and follow-up stages.
