摘要

This qualitative phenomenological research conducted a follow-up study with the Female adult single parent (FASP) participants from the 2019 study (Bradley & Goldstein, 2022) to learn more about their experiences during and since the COVID-19 era (March 2020–present). Five of the original six single mothers participated in this follow-up study. Two research questions (RQ) guided this study. The first RQ focused on the lived experience of FASP, and the second RQ focused on how participants felt the schools could better support FASP families. Participants shared their stories and provided suggestions for schools. Data were collected through in-depth, semi-structured interviews held in person or virtually via Zoom. Findings revealed a continued lack of positive parent-school collaborations. Suggestions for schools and future directions for research with this population are provided.
