摘要

Candida albicans cells growing under biofilm form exhibit exceptional resistance towards anti-fungal agents and host immune responses. In this report, we have investigated variables that affect C. albicans biofilm development. Our observations suggest that factors like inoculum density, adhesion time and media composition play important roles in regulating biofilm formations and inoculum density of 1 × 107 cells/mL, adhesion for 90 min, and RPMI 1640 were the optimal conditions.
