摘要

Smart Healthcare relies on the extensive storage of patients’ medical records, formally known as electronic health records (EHRs), in cloud data centers. These records can be shared with doctors or hospitals as needed. However, cloud storage requires an effective security mechanism to prevent sensitive information from being tampered with or leaked. Information retrieval is also challenging due to the different formats used by various medical institutions. To address these issues, we propose a secure record-keeping framework specifically designed for EHRs called CuraFrame, which utilizes a permissioned blockchain. CuraFrame aims to provide security, privacy preservation, data availability, and noninteractive authentication without patient data leaks. We also introduce a flexible data storage schema within CuraFrame that facilitates future keyword-specific data storage and retrieval. Furthermore, we propose a unique consensus algorithm for CuraFrame called Greedy Not-Greedy Delegated Byzantine Fault Tolerance (GNG-dBFT), which achieves a 9% reduction in consensus delay and a 19% improvement in throughput compared to state-of-the-art schemes. Furthermore, GNG-dBFT is 3.268 times more computationally efficient than PBFT. Our security analysis demonstrates the efficiency of CuraFrame, as it ensures the privacy, secrecy, and integrity of user information.
