A Silent Giant: Well-Differentiated Cervical Liposarcoma Masquerading as a Benign Neck Mass
摘要
Liposarcomas of the head and neck account for approximately 1% of all sarcomas in this region and are exceedingly rare in the cervical region. We report a 46-year-old male with a giant anterior cervical mass initially diagnosed as a lipoma on cytology. Early and accurate diagnosis, coupled with complete surgical resection, can lead to favourable outcomes and prevention of recurrence in patients with well-differentiated liposarcoma of the head and neck.
