<p>To determine the efficacy of intratympanic corticosteroids in late presenting (2&#xa0;weeks to 6&#xa0;weeks) sudden onset sensory neural hearing loss patients. Out of 45 patients, 50% received oral corticosteroids and in rest of the patients intra tympanic steroids were given (dexamethasone 8&#xa0;mg) every 7&#xa0;days interval for 4&#xa0;weeks. Audiogram was performed for each patient- pre and post treatment. Group receiving intratympanic steroids showed favourable, though statistically non-significant, trend toward superior auditory outcomes. Patients having intratympanic injection along with other treatments are presumed to show better results than oral counterparts.</p>
