<p>Allergic rhinitis is a type I hypersensitivity marked by nasal inflammation from allergen exposure. It involves immune overreaction to triggers like pollen or dust mites, causing histamine release. Skin prick testing introduces allergens into the skin to detect specific IgE, enabling rapid diagnosis. This study investigates the prevalence and common allergen sensitivities in allergic rhinitis patients at the study site.&#xa0;This study assessed allergen sensitivity in 50 allergic rhinitis patients (aged 18-60 years) in Davangere, Karnataka. Skin prick tests using a 22-allergen panel identified reactions based on wheal size. Patients underwent pre-testing evaluations and post testing monitoring, with no complications reported. Statistical analysis done via IBM SPSS Version 28 and p&lt; 0.05 considered significant.&#xa0;Younger individuals (≤30 years) were predominantly affected (52%, mean age 32.2±12.48 years). Males (58%) were slightly more prone than females (42%). Skin prick tests identified Cockroach mix (68%), Dermatophagoides farinae (66%) and Alternaria (56%) as key allergens, with sensitivity to pollen group (23.69%) and fungi group (23.42%) being most prevalent.&#xa0;Skin prick tests identified Cockroach mix, Dermatophagoides farinae, and Alternaria as major allergens. Pollen and fungi were significant, with age and gender influencing food and animal allergen sensitivity. Skin prick test can be used as a reliable tool in identifying allergens, planning treatment and educating patients with allergic rhinitis.</p>
