<p>To compare the efficacy of oral Rebamipide tablet vs. intralesional Inj Triamcinolone and Hyaluronidase for the management of oral submucous fibrosis (OSMF) with respect to improvement in mouth opening.Single-center Institution based randomized clinical study carried out in Government ENT Hospital (Osmania Medical College), Hyderabad from 2022 to 2024. Eighty patients were selected from patients presenting to outpatient department and clinically diagnosed with OSMF. Forty patients (test group) were advised Tablet Rebamipide 100&#xa0;mg thrice daily for 6 weeks. The second group (control) was treated with once weekly intralesional injection of Triamcinolone 10&#xa0;mg + Hyaluronidase 1500 IU. Interincisal distance (ID) was measured using vernier calipers in all patients. Both groups were followed up once weekly for 6 weeks. Interincisal distance (ID) was measured using vernier calipers. Three patients were lost to follow up from test group and excluded from analysis. Improvement in ID after 6 weeks was 5.92 ± 2.52&#xa0;mm (mean ± SD) in test group and 8.75 ± 4.93&#xa0;mm in control group. The study shows that intralesional steroid and hyaluronidase injection produced overall better results than oral Rebamipide. However oral Rebamipide tablets also improved ID when compared to baseline.</p>
