Round Window Reinforcement for Superior Semicircular Canal Dehiscence Syndrome: A Successful Case Report
摘要
Transmastoid and middle fossa are the traditional approaches for the superior semicircular canal dehiscence. The round window procedures have emerged as interesting options due to their lower morbidity compared to the others. The main limitation with them consists in the clinical instability in medium and long terms. We report a 61 years old female, diagnosed with this syndrome and the successful treatment with the reinforcement of the round window, with no relapse after 1 year from the surgery.
