摘要

We report a case of a 30-year-old male patient who presented with recurrent episodes of epistaxis and progressive nasal obstruction for two months. Anterior rhinoscopy revealed a brownish red vascular mass on the anterior nasal septum. Contrast-enhanced CT scan demonstrated a well-defined enhancing lesion without bony erosion. Endoscopic excision of the mass was performed. Histopathological examination revealed a proliferation of thin-walled, anastomosing vascular channels lined by hobnail endothelial cells without atypia or mitosis. Although very rare, anastomosing hemangioma should be considered in the differential diagnosis of vascular tumors of the nasal septum. Accurate histopathological evaluation is essential to distinguish it from angiosarcoma and avoid overtreatment. Surgical excision is curative with excellent prognosis.
