摘要

Benign fibrous histiocytoma (BFH) is a rare soft tissue neoplasm that primarily arises in the skin and subcutaneous tissues, affecting the extremities and trunk. This case report describes a rare instance of benign fibrous histiocytoma (BFH) in the nasal vestibule of a 31-year-old male, presenting with progressive swelling and nasal obstruction. A firm mass was identified on examination, and surgical excision confirmed the diagnosis through histopathology, revealing spindle-shaped cells, vesicular nuclei, scattered foamy histiocytes and multinucleated giant cells. Immunohistochemical analysis showed positivity for CD68, factor XIIIa & CD163, distinguishing it from malignant neoplasms. This case highlights the rarity of BFH in this location and emphasizes the importance of histopathological and immunohistochemical evaluation for accurate diagnosis.
