Case Report—Case of Scrofuloderma Presenting as Infected Non-healing Neck Wound
摘要
Cutaneous tuberculosis accounts for 0.14% of all cases of tuberculosis, scrofuloderma is a form of cutaneous tuberculous infection that occurs by direct inoculation or contiguous spread from deep foci. Here we discuss the case of 70 year old male presenting with infected non healing neck sinus without prior history of kochs. The diagnosis was made by histopathological reporting after biopsy revealed presence of granuloma supported by computed tomography of chest revealing consolidation in apex of left lung.
