<p>To endoscopically dissect cadavers to record various parameters and to look for noticeable variations in the surgically relevant anatomical landmarks in the nasal and paranasal areas, and the skull base area. Material and Methods: The study was done on 30 cadavers with intact head and neck in the department of Anatomy at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur, CG, India. The cadavers were dissected endoscopically to measure the distances of surgically significant anatomical landmarks such as torus tubarius, eustachian tube opening, sphenoid sinus opening, and the upper edge of choana from the anterior nares, specifically at the mucocutaneous fold just lateral to the anterior nasal spine. The measured distances, along with the variations observed such as Deviated nasal Septum and Septal spur were noted. Results: The average distance of the eustachian tube opening from the anterior nares was found to be 8.27<b> ± </b>0.43&#xa0;cm on the right side and 8.25<b> ± </b>0.47&#xa0;cm on the left side, for torus tubarius, it was 7.63 ± 0.48&#xa0;cm on the right and 7.66 ± 0.53&#xa0;cm on the left side, for sphenoid sinus opening, it was 7.63 ± 0.48&#xa0;cm on the right side and 7.66 ± 0.53&#xa0;cm on the left side and for the upper edge of choana, it was 8.21 ± 0.46&#xa0;cm and 8.21 ± 0.45&#xa0;cm on the right and left side respectively. The DNS was found in 20% of the cadavers (13% on the right side and 7% on the left side) whereas the septal spur was found in 60% of the cadavers (17% on the right side and 43% on the left side). Conclusion: The cadavers were dissected endoscopically to measure certain surgically relevant anatomical landmarks, significant in paranasal and skull base surgeries. As Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) is one of the commonly performed procedures in the ENT and Neurosurgery departments to reach various sinuses and skull base through sphenoid sinus, this study provides the data relevant which could be beneficial for the respective surgeons as this study is performed endoscopically.</p>
