An Instance of Nasal Entomophthoromycosis: A Case Report

Patients presenting to the ENT OPD commonly with nasal obstruction, which might be due to a variety of causes, most commonly septal deviations, nasal polyps, and benign tumours. Occasionally, in Tropical and subtropical regions rare condition such as entomophthoramycosis may occur. This case demonstrates one such presentation. A 49 year old female presented with nasal obstruction who underwent complete endoscopic excision of the right nasal mass, histopathology report revealing entomophthoromycosis. Despite the rarity of the disease, ENT surgeons should keep in mind this clinical condition when dealing with chronic nasal masses.
