摘要

Salivary duct carcinoma is a rare highly aggressive tumour.

Chronic inflammation could play a role in etiopathogenesis of this tunour.

Further research is needed to confirm the role of chronic inflammation in etiology.

Early diagnosis with aggressive treatment with surgery +/− neck dissection as well as adjuvant radiotherapy can improve the outcome in these cancers.
