摘要

Malignant lymphomas account for around 5% of all head and neck cancers. Hodgkin’s lymphomas (HLs) and non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas (NHLs) are the two subgroups into which they are traditionally separated. About 30 to 40% of all cases of B-cell lymphoma, which typically affects extra nodal sites, were found at the head and neck level (13.6%), soft tissue level (10.6%), and gastrointestinal tract level (34%). 40 to 50% of head and neck lymphomas develop in the tonsil, and over half of them develop in the Waldeyer ring. A 38 years old female presented with foreign body sensation in throat and On examination, lobulated mass was arising from the left tonsil superior pole.Tonsillectomy and biopsy was done, which revealed Lymphoproliferative growth and High grade B cell lymphoma was reported as per IHC markers.
