<p>Verrucous carcinoma is a rare, low-grade variant, well differentiated variant of squamous cell carcinoma which is slow growing yet locally invasive in nature. Its occurrence in children is exceedingly uncommon, and its association with vitiligo has not been extensively documented. A 14-year-old male child with a history of vitiligo presented with progressively enlarging warty lesion measuring 1.5 × 1.5&#xa0;cm on the depigmented area on middle 1/3rd of the lower lip. Biopsy from the growth confirmed verrucous carcinoma. He underwent wedge excision of the lesion with 1&#xa0;cm margin followed by primary closure. This case underscores the need for vigilant monitoring of vitiligo patches in sun- exposed areas for potential malignant transformation.</p>
