<p>To evaluate the efficacy of autologous Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) in the nasal pack on a patient undergoing endoscopic sinus surgery. A prospective single-blinded study was conducted involving two groups of patients undergoing endoscopic sinus surgery that required postoperative packing. Group 1 [<i>n</i> = 40] received PRP nasal packing, while Group 2 [<i>n</i> = 40] received saline nasal packing. Outcomes were assessed using the Nasal obstruction symptom evaluation [NOSE] scale, Visual Analog scale [VAS] for pain, bleeding control, crusting and synechiae formation at various postoperative intervals. The mean age of the patient was 34.75 ± 10.54 years with male preponderance. Postoperative clinical and endoscopic assessment shows NOSE scores, pain scale, control of bleeding, nasal crusting and synechiae formation with <i>P</i> value of &gt; 0.05 offering minor advantage as compared to saline in the overall postoperative care of endoscopic sinus surgery patients. The study demonstrates that platelet-rich plasma (PRP) nasal packing has slight edge over than saline nasal packing in postoperative outcomes for patients undergoing endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS).</p>
