A Unique Case of Pinna Reconstruction Following Partial Avulsion in a Rural Tertiary Care Centre
摘要
Traumatic ear avulsion may have tremendous psychological consequences if not managed timely, as ear is the most prominent defining facial feature of human face in social surroundings. There are no clear guidelines on the surgical management of these injuries, especially in developing countries where microsurgical facilities are lacking. So, it remains a challenge to give the aesthetic results to such patients. Here we have discussed a case of partial ear avulsion managed timely with good cosmetic outcome at the end of treatment.
