<p>Basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma are the most common cancers in the skin of the head and neck region where sun exposure is the most intense. The main principle of treatment is to remove the mass with clean surgical margins. In large masses, appropriate reconstruction of the large defect should be provided. Bilobe flaps can be used to close the defects in the malar region. In this case report, the clinical features of the disease, diagnostic approach, treatment modalities and reconstruction of the defect are reviewed in a case of squamous cell carcinoma arising from the skin of the head and neck.</p>
