Sutureless aortic valve replacement with patent vein grafts post coronary artery bypass grafting
摘要
A 73-year-old gentleman who had previously undergone a coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) presented with moderate to severe aortic stenosis (AS). A computed tomography (CT) angiogram revealed patent grafts. The CT images were studied to check the feasibility for a sutureless aortic valve implantation which he underwent. His postoperative period was uneventful and he was discharged on the 5th postoperative day. This case report shows that sutureless aortic valve implantation is feasible and has excellent results in a patient who has a patent left internal thoracic artery (LITA) and saphenous vein grafts.
