<p>The first part of the article analyses the implementation of children’s rights in Luxembourg as a&#xa0;series of milestones and setbacks, focusing on key normative developments and findings by the Ombudsman for Children and Young People (OKAJU). The second part is devoted to the participation of children and young people in Luxembourg and examines the extent to which the principle of participation enshrined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and in the Constitution is actually implemented in the areas of politics and citizenship, education, child and family assistance and social services, as well as healthcare, and what role the CAPACITI-project could play in this.</p>
