<p>This article highlights ethnographic observations and initial findings that emerged in 2024 and 2025 during the project work and research carried out by the htw saar team in the Interreg project CAPACITI. It takes a&#xa0;look at the “project within the project,” translation problems, networking as a&#xa0;core task, the search for viable wording, research approaches, and finally a&#xa0;very practical question that arises repeatedly in the research process, especially when participation is taken seriously: Is participation caught in an “adultism dilemma”?</p>
