<p>When conspicuous and problematic developments are perceived in the younger generation, youth work is always called upon alongside schools. This also applies to the various right-wing extremist phenomena that have a&#xa0;long tradition in the history of the Federal Republic of Germany. Youth work is being promoted through new government programms and must justify what its educational and preventive contribution is or can be in the fight against right-wing extremism and in the promotion of democracy. The text reconstructs the connection between right-wing youth, youth policy and youth work.</p>
