Soziale Arbeit mit rechtsaffinen Adressat*innen
摘要
This article examines the increasing challenges faced by social work when engaging with right-leaning clients within mainstream support services. It is demonstrated that right-wing populist and extreme right-wing orientations are no longer a marginal phenomenon confined to specialised services but are becoming increasingly visible across a broad spectrum of social work contexts. While the structural causes of right-wing extremism limit the transformative potential of social work, the text emphasizes the importance of professional ethics, stable working relationships, and reflective boundary-setting. Central tensions arise between the mandate to provide support, the need for democratic and anti-discriminatory positioning, and the obligation not to deny assistance based on clients’ hostile attitudes.
