Sozialpolitik und Soziale Arbeit in der DDR
摘要
In retrospect, the socio-political self-image and working methods in social fields of action in the GDR can only be understood in the context of a (desired) socialist society. Social policy was described as the central component of social strategy and thus as a task for society as a whole. Families were relieved both by targeted social policy monetary benefits and by the ever-expanding network of institutional state childcare facilities (especially for children). However, these dynamic social policy benefits became increasingly detached from economic realities.
