Raus aus der Fußnote – Soziale Arbeit in der DDR und in Ostdeutschland nach der deutschen Einheit
摘要
If publications on social work refer to their origins in 20th-century Germany, it is striking that they primarily refer to developments in West Germany. Social work in the GDR seems too bulky, opaque or complex to be outlined and discussed, especially in relation to today’s issues. At least, this is what the footnotes suggest, which occasionally point out that developments in the GDR were ‘different,’ but that this cannot be described in such a short space. The focus is, firstly, to shed light on the subject of social work in the GDR and, secondly, to discuss possible learnings for the organisation of social work.
