<p>The following article would like to present the burden situation in the ASD—detached from statistics—purely based on the experiences from the working groups and the feedback from the member cities of the Hessian Association of Local Authorities, as well as suggest possible concrete, professional and political solutions for further discussion. The results of the <i>study on the specialist situation in the central basic service (ASD) of public child and youth welfare (FaSiBa)</i> (Klomann, Kreß and Kutscher in this focus) supplement these considerations.</p>
