The gradual implementation of social work in daycare centers based on the success of social work in primary and secondary school— following the socio-political argument. In Germany social work in primary and secondary school has been around for almost 50 years—Social work in daycare centers for almost ten years. Social work in daycare centers and in primary and secondary school is compared in the perspective of families, recipients and goals. Common socio-political structures are discussed in the view of family centers and primary school family centers.
