Zusammenarbeit mit Familien in der Kita-Sozialarbeit

In recent years, social work in kindergartens has become established in different ways in various locations in Germany. One element that unites the different concepts is the focus on needs that parents and families articulate or that are identified by professionals in ECCE regarding parents and families. Based on a joint interview study with social workers and managers in kindergartens, this paper explores the question of how family-orientation in social work in kindergartens is contoured.
