Die Macht der Emotionen im Studium

摘要

A professional self-image of social work is not limited to cognitive-intellectual aspects alone, but also focuses on emotions as an integral part of (social) life contexts. Perception and thinking as well as feelings, affects and emotions are interdependent. If emotions accompany everyday interactions, addressing them becomes relevant because emotions refer to one’s own involvement in (also professional) situations. This calls for a conscious approach as a professional marker, especially in conflict situations, and emotions themselves can be a source of knowledge. It is therefore plausible to focus on emotions as an essential aspect of professionalization processes and thus to target the university as a place of education in particular. To this end, the contributions in this focus area deal with different aspects and problematizations of emotions in studies in the context of higher education.
