Wie wohnen?

The housing crisis continues to worsen and is affecting more and more areas of community work (GWA) and local politics. GWA can revitalise and expand its scope for action in this regard by becoming involved in the social and structural preservation of existing buildings and corresponding conversion measures, while at the same time critically supporting the limited new construction that is necessary. Its guiding principles are derived from the social and ecological “Bauwende” (building turnaround).
