Outgoing und Incoming

Since 1964, the Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) has been developed and differentiated in many ways. Not only the expansion in the number of people and organizations, but also the opportunity to complete the FSJ in various areas and abroad are part of this process, as is the introduction of the FSJ INGLOS (2015) pilot project. This article focusses on the Voluntary Social Year abroad and first presents some figures and developments in the FSJ abroad and the FSJ Incoming. It will then focus on the incoming volunteer service and, in particular, discuss the need and opportunities for further development.
