Professionalisierung trotz(t) Fachkräftemangel

This article describes current challenges and shows which tools the Frankfurt Youth and Social Welfare Office (JSA) is using to navigate through these difficult times. A strong professional positioning (social concept JSA 2023)—and not the reduction of quality standards—is at the forefront of the management of this office. Even if it is very tempting to respond to the current challenges with “solutions” that are often pseudo-plausible in the short term, the Frankfurt/Main Youth Welfare Office will not deviate from its central goal of progressive professionalization.
